The Network is an interconnected network which connects people who need help with those who would like to give help, and it’s also a simple way to connect socially. We hope that it will soon become an organic network bringing people together and to make giving and receiving easy. This is particularly relevant in our fractured society where family often provides less support than in many other cultures.
In all forms of Buddhism, practicing compassion is an essential component of the spiritual path. As Mahayana Buddhists, our primary objective is the happiness of others. The Network is a forum where we can practice compassion in a real and practical way. Ringu Tulku once said "There is absolutely no better Dharma practise than to help and support people in need". When The Network was mentioned to him he was delighted to hear about it and gave his blessings. Peace & Love, Zack Email us at: bodhicharya.net@gmail.com |
